It appears that the market lows on December 24th were indeed the bottom, marking the end of the Bear market that began after the October highs. The US economy continues to prosper with more good news in the job market, recently adding over 300,000 new jobs. As a result, equity markets have been recovering nicely. According to BNI Research, the S&P 500 gained +8.0% (total return) in January 2019, a performance that ranks in the top 4% of monthly returns in the last 30 years.
We have a new Advisor, Christina Vignery, who is in charge of marketing for the team. Christina and her family just moved to Tucson from Salina, Kansas. Welcome Christina!
As we continue to grow, we also welcome Linda Dungan. Linda has been a licensed assistant for many years. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience. Linda will be assisting Lacey and Sarah, who could use the help in serving Rob Schannep in our California branch.
